The Hinge Sponsors Tonic Ball The Hinge was proud to be a sponsor of the 10th annual Tonic Ball. It was a great party and we were glad to see many of friends there. It sold out again for the second year in a row. That is quite an achievement considering it was 33% larger this year with the added venue of The White Rabbit. It was a great night for Fountain Square. Tonic Ball is a benefit party for Second Helpings. They are a great organization that is dedicated to fighting hunger, empowering people and saving food form being thrown away. We expect to start pre-leasing apartments in February, and people are already asking for details so they can get their applications in. Construction of The Hinge is well underway now and things are starting to look great. The foundations are completed and the structural brick for the first floor walls is almost complete. You can now begin to see the design as the architects had conceived it. The Hinge will be a brand new design for Indianapolis and will help move design here in a progressive direction.
Ground Breaking at The Hinge
What: The Hinge Groundbreaking INDIANAPOLIS - Fletcher Place Development, LLC, will break ground on an innovative, mixed-use development called The Hinge. The June 3rd event, which takes place on an IDADA First Friday, will feature a DJ and prizes. The Hinge gets its name from the pivotal location it will occupy, just north of the point where Interstate 65/70 intersects Virginia Ave. The development will include 56 market- rate rental apartments, 4000 square feet of retail, and 8000 square feet of office space.
